‘Wheel of Fortune’ tournament winner is a Buffalo Bills….

Allegany, New York resident Jill Prince made an appearance on “Wheel of Fortune” on Friday night during the game show’s “NFL Superfan Tournament” championship round. At Allegany-Limestone Elementary in Western New York, Prince teaches third grade. She is passionate about the Bills outside of work, but she loves her job. She said that every Sunday, the whole family would watch the Bills games together because her grandmother was an avid fan. As stated in her show bio, she loves the sense of community that comes with being a member of the Bills Mafia. After winning the episode on Tuesday, Prince received $65,698 in cash and prizes, which included a trip to Portugal and Spain. She was invited to return on Friday for a chance to win more money and the grand prize of a VIP experience at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, since she was one of the top three winners from the first four nights of this week’s NFL Superfan Tournament. In addition to $56,298 in cash and prizes—including a trip to Alaska and two tickets to Sunday’s Super Bowl—she won the episode on Friday. ARR Prince claimed that her children inspired her to submit an application for “Wheel of Fortune,” since she had always desired to be on the program. She stated before the contest that she planned to travel with her children and use the winnings to eventually go back to school and earn a master’s degree.
Contestants on the game show, which is hosted by Pat Sajak and Vanna White, spin the wheel and solve puzzles to enter to win money, vehicles, and vacations. After 41 seasons, Sajak is retiring in the spring, and Ryan Seacrest and White have been selected to take his place. Wheeloffortune.com/join/be-a-contestant is where fans can apply to participate. Prospective contestants can demonstrate their puzzle-solving abilities in virtual auditions, with the possibility of being chosen to participate in the show from the comfort of their own homes.
