PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers, along with the rest of the league, are going to see a major boost in their salary cap this offseason as the NFL has set the floor at a record-breaking $255.4 million.
The league was originally expecting a number near the $242.5 million mark but will not get another $13 million to work with this offseason. For the Steelers, they’re now roughly $7.5 million under the cap as opposed to the $4 million they were anticipating being over.
